Elizabeth’s “Sanguine” draws inspiration from the works of Edme Bouchardon, an 18th-century French sculptor. Old masters favoured the blood-red chalk pencil sanguine for its ability to convey tones, particularly that of equine musculature. In this print, Elizabeth captures the intensity of a horse in the midst of show jumping. Each line intertwines, creating a dynamic pattern that mirrors the rhythm of blood flow within the muscles.
Each artwork can be printed with the option of having a margin or not.
A margin refers to the white border surrounding the art itself.
'With Margin' includes this white border, providing some breathing space around the art. For a more traditional print look.
'No Margin' means the artwork extends to the edge of the print without any white border. Seamlessly popping into any frame of corresponding size.
Both options maintain the same print size and are compatible with standard frames.
